Lawn Mowing Service

As a homeowner you strive to have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood, and the key to achieving this status is by properly mowing your lawn! Lawn mowing is the most common lawn care practice, but it is not always performed as often as it should be. A lot of homeowners wait until their lawn is overgrown to finally mow, but to maintain a healthy and happy lawn this service needs to be done on a regular basis. But, let’s face it mowing your lawn once a week (sometimes more or less frequently depending on the climate in which you live) becomes a dreadful chore. Leave the mowing and trimming to the local professionals, and as soon as it’s done you will receive a completed picture of your lovely looking lawn.

About Our Lawn Mow Service
Our standard lawn mowing services includes a mowing of the lawn, trimming of perimeters of the lawn by weed-eater or string trimmer, and the clearing of grass clippings from all hard surfaces. Our professional landscapers will adhere to the ⅓ principle when cutting the lawn. This rule means that you never remove more than one third of the grass height at any one time you’re mowing. This principle helps you figure out how frequently the lawn needs to be mowed, and ensures that your lawn will remain healthy.

We offer a recurring service option with our lawn mowing service, which gives you the choice of every 7, 10, or 14 days. With this recurring service you are offered a discount based on the frequency you have chosen, although the quote may increase if the grass length is longer than 5” at the time of service. The standard rate to maintain a green and healthy lawn is as often as once a week, or possibly two weeks depending on where you live and the season in your area. It is important to not wait until the grass is beginning to look overgrown to roll out the lawn mower, and getting on a recurring service can help you change this habit.

Additional services can be added on to our standard lawn mowing service, and these include; edging, bed maintenance, trimming maintenance, and dog waste removal. Edging: Our landscapers will create a natural edge between your grass and hard surfaces (driveway, sidewalks, patios) using an edger or a shovel. If the length of edging needed is deemed extensive by the landscaper, Kibi will contact you with an updated quote. Bed Maintenance: Our landscapers will remove lawn and leaf debris, and will prefer a light weeding to the flower or garden beds. If a landscaper determines that there is excessive debris or additional service is needed, Kibi will contact you with an updated quote. Trimming Maintenance: Our landscapers will do a light trimming and pruning to any bushes, shrubs or trees that have been trimmed already this season and need to be cleaned up. Pet Waste Removal: Our landscapers will remove any dog waste that has accumulated on your lawn.

When ordering this service, either through our app or online, just let us know how big your lawn is in acres, the length of your grass in inches, and any add on services you would like to include. Once this service is scheduled, our locally insured professionals with be taking care of the rest!

Benefits of a Lawn Mowing Service
There are many benefits to having your lawn mowed by professionals, it not only will make it look all neat and pretty it also helps make it very healthy. Mulching is a huge part in maintaining a healthy lawn, and this takes place during a lawn mowing. This is when the grass clippings form the mowed turfgrass are returned back into the soil. This helps to return much needed nutrients back to the soil after a mow. Not all lawn mowers have a mulching feature, so leave it to the professionals to make sure it is getting done properly.

Another benefit from having your lawn mowed is even growth and stronger grass. An uneven and patchy lawn can be a nightmare to deal with, as well as to look at. But, a regular mowing can help your lawn grow evenly and prevent this patchy growth. By cutting your grass down to a short, unified level consistently you are allowing for resources to be distributed evenly throughout the lawn. An even absorption of water and sunlight will help to promote even growth!
